Aspen is a city in Colorado in the state of United State. Aspen is the elite ski resort town where Jack Nicholson, Michael Douglas and other celebrities are take part time for stay. 1. Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES)

The ACES Naturalists are friendly and informative. The setting is lovely. It is a great place to take your children to learn about the environment. You can also take a part in the seminars beekeeping, mushroom and photo safaris. Pausing at Hallam Lake to watch the birds of prey are rehabilitated.

2. Aspen ski /Snowmass

3. Crater Lake Trail

However, you must park your car at the Maroon Bells Parking Lot and take a bus tour into the White River National Forest System.

This is not a smooth walking trail! The terrain is very rocky, and it is easy to twist an ankle or trip. There are no conveniences along the way, so bring and drink plenty of water, take advantage of the restrooms before starting up, and an energy snack isn't a bad idea. If anyone in your hiking group becomes lightheaded, develops a headache, nausea or cramps, you may want to consider ending the hike. These are signs of altitude sickness and can become severe.

4. Maroon Bells

Its three prominent and sharply defined peaks are some of the most photographed mountains in North America. Hike the trail around Maroon Lake, which is easy and offers spectacular views of the mountains reflecting off the shimmering water. After Labor Day, car traffic is allowed on weekdays up until the road closes for the winter due to snow. Bring some water and food because of  no refreshment stands.

5. Aspen Fine Art Gallery

Not only is the product outstanding but the knowledge is provided there. The small gallery, located on the Hyman Avenue Mall, specializes in avant-garde, post-Impressionism, and masterworks from a wealth of contemporary artists. You can also peruse works from Cuba, Europe, Turkey and the former Soviet Union.

6. Bentley's Bar

The bar resembles an old Victorian pub, and even includes an old bank counter imported from England functioning as a bar. You can choose from an array of typical American pub fare ranging from soups and salads to burgers and nachos. But if you are feeling more civilized, the menu offers an interesting selection of entrees including shrimp stir fry and Ruby Trout. The bar has one of the best beer lists in town.

7. Ashcroft Ski Tour

Ashcroft is known as a Ghost Town which is quite spectacular as a castle in the Valley Creek or known by the name of the Green World Day Hike. It is one of the few areas where the scenery is almost more breathtaking than ski itself.

8. Syzygy

What is this? This is just a restaurant. If you looking for impression, just choose this restaurant. Consistently rated as one of the best restaurants in Aspen, it offers top food with top jazz. The enclosed waterfalls create an immediate impression and make you stream" oh...awesome".

The menu extends this feel by offering New American cuisine with select dishes from around the world. Angus Beef fillet and elk tenderloin are two of the more notable dishes. Live Jazz can be found here every Thursday starting at 9pm. The wine list is the size of a small novella and features over 300 varieties.

9. Ute Mountaineer Shop

You can complete your ski mountain equipment here, such as North Face shells, Marmot parkas, Patagonia fleece, Leki trekking poles, hiking boots, sandals, snowshoes, hats, goggles, gloves, maps, books, telemark equipment, packs and climbing gear are just some of the items available. The shop's rental program is also topnotch and rents out everything from skis and snowshoes, to backpacks and kayaking gear.
