The Goreme Open-Air Museum resembles a vast monastic complex composed of scores of refectory monasteries placed side-by-side, each with its own fantastic church. It is obviously the first sight to be visited by any traveler in Cappadocia, standing as it does in the very center of the region with easy access from all directions. Natural Rock Citadel of Uchisar |
It's an ancient "cave-town" and it quite pretty impressive, seeing a number of other man-made cave dwellings and churches in the area. It's a
Fortress of Uchisar's been made by the nature. At the top, you have a beautiful oversight on the whole region. It's the symbol of Uchisar.
Sacred Valley
The most peaceful place in the world . It's in the edge of Mustafa K Pasha village. And this village is a pearl in Cappadocia.
So this valley has an owner, an old man who cleans it, and who brings water there every day. And he decorated this place with traditional stuff all around the wall. If you go there you can find nobody usually, just sit and drink a cup of tea and eat fruit (apricot) from the tree of the valley. And you leave as much as money you think.
Hitchhikers Car, Bicycles, Squads Rental
The stuff is great and likes to help you. The mountainbikes are cheap and a very good quality. The vallies around Goreme are great to bike around, but be carefully, you can be lost very fast.
