Selfridges Rooftop Lake

Selfridges rooftop lake is the newest water vacation in London. Selfridges rooftop lake  is an emerald green lake which have installed and conceiced by Sam Bompas and Harry Parr, two UK-based designers and part of the Truvia Voyage of Discovery. Selfridges rooftop lake -as his name of roof top- formerly was the roof of Selfridges department store, United Kingdom. Selfridges rooftop lake is also complete with rowboats and a panoramic view. The lake will be open until the 24th and visitors are encouraged to paddle around in their sweet Sunday best.

Selfridges rooftop lake placed on the rooftop of Selfridges department store on Oxford Street, in London. UK Selfridges is opening its roof to the public, for just the second time since World War II.

Selfridges rooftop lake is being an interesting attraction and the strangest boating experiences because of filled with   the green water. Here, all visitors are allowed to ride a small boat while paddling to observe the sights across central London and enjoying cocktails served. The roof itself is below a specially-built platform upon which a boating lake (with twelve boats, a waterfall, a cocktail booth and a lifeguard) and a cocktail bar have been mounted.

All ticket holders get two crystals which can be exchanged with cocktails, coffee or tea. If you go to the boat ride is better go solo or find someone of similar weight. Even though the lake is quite shallow, we don’t recommend a dip (unplanned or otherwise) in the fluorescent water. Do not forget to rent an umbrella I guess, so you do not get sunburn. Like to go there? bring your friend to spent your holiday and enjoying the green water in Selfridges rooftop lake.
